Do you want to pay for your United States of America visa fees or schedule an appointment with the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria or any West African country?
The United States Embassy has officially transitioned to a new visa payment and scheduling system, which offers applicants a more user-friendly and streamlined platform for their visa payments and appointments.

Here is what you should know:
· The old U.S. visa appointment booking and payment system (ustraveldocs.com) is no longer accessible.
· You can use https://www.usvisaappt.com/visa/ to make your payments and appointments.
· To begin your journey, click on your country to gain access to useful links.
· All submissions under the old system are either in migration or cessation, depending on their relevance.
· You must follow the new procedures outlined on the new website.
Note: If you had an appointment scheduled on the previous website, your appointment remains on the original date you selected. You will receive an automatic communication within the next two business days to the email address you registered on the previous website. You do not need to contact the U.S. Embassy; instructions on how to set up your account will be sent directly to your registered email address.

How to Pay Your U.S.A. Visa Fees & Schedule Appointment (New Website)
The first step is to click on:
https://www.usvisaappt.com/visaapplicantui/login
Note: If you have scheduled an appointment with the old site. Don't create a new account on A.V.I.T.S. You will receive an email from the U.S.U.S. embassy directly to your registered application.
USER WITH ACCOUNT
· Sign in if you have registered before and continue your visa application.
· If you have already booked dates for next year with your M.R.V. Receipt, you will be given a chance to rebook.
FIRST TIME USER
- Click on New User/Sign Up
- Register to book an appointment
- Fill in your name, email, and phone number
(Email Authentication Required)
Note: You must continue the authentication process within 30 minutes. If you fail to take action within this duration, the email you used will no longer work (the email exists).
You must start the process with a new email.

· Click down to create a new appointment. It has all the West African countries except Togo.
· Proceed
· Choose a state
Note: If you choose a particular country or state, you can't change it unless you cancel and pay another visa fee.

"Create New" button on your Dashboard to start the scheduling process.
1. Choose the application country and service type ("Nonimmigrant Visa"), and select the needed visa category and visa class from the menu. If applicable, add the person scheduling along with you and enter their details.

- You must input your DS-160 confirmation number and S.E.V.I.S. number when you start.

If you signed out or changed tabs before concluding the process, click "Pending Appointment Request" on your Dashboard to continue.
8. Application Overview (Payment section)
- Credit Card

You will receive a generated payment form. Download and use this form to pay your visa fee.
- If available in your country, choose a delivery option and pay the visa fee.
- Once payment is confirmed, your user account will display a calendar with available appointments.
- Select the Consulate and the most convenient appointment date and time, then click "Select Post and Proceed" to conclude the scheduling.
- You will receive an Appointment Confirmation Letter.
If you qualify to apply by mail, the Interview Waiver Letter with instructions on submitting your application documents will be displayed instead of the scheduled calendar.
