Pay4Me App, a leading cross-border payment solution for international students and immigrants, is thrilled to announce its selection into the ADAPT Social Innovation for a More Resilient Future Accelerator Program in the United States. In partnership with the MetLife Foundation and TIAA, Village Capital initiated this program to support startups for social innovation and impact.

The program promises to support innovations that foster economic prosperity and reduce social inequality worldwide. Through mentorship, catalytic capital, and workshops, ADAPT will empower participating startups with novel tools for driving social change initiatives.

Here are the ten early-stage startups selected for the Social Innovation for Resilient Future Accelerator Program:

  • Arbol: helps universities improve retention by preventing financial disruption.
  • Carefully: is a cooperatively owned platform that makes it easy for families to connect with people they trust to access affordable childcare in their community so they can work, live, and thrive.
  • Gabriel Money: is the path to financial prosperity for young Latinx in the US who have the ambition to ascend financially but need the right knowledge, tools, and financial products.
  • Okovate: develops community solar projects that combine solar energy generation and crop production, ensuring profitable and sustainable farming practices for crop farmers.
  • Pay4Me App: provides instant cross-border payment solutions for international students and immigrants.
  • Remynt empowers consumers to rebuild credit while resolving delinquent debt.
  • Seed At The Table: is an SEC and FINRA-approved tech-enabled community crowdfunding platform and financial ecosystem committed to providing its BIPOC entrepreneurs with equitable access to capital, opportunity, and resources.
  • Share Farm: bridges the gap between small and mid-sized diverse farmers and large food buyers, enhancing economic inclusion and resilience by providing market access and stabilizing income through sustainable and socially responsible agriculture practices.
  • ThriveLink is an AI voice-activated enrollment agent that enrolls users into programs like health insurance without requiring reading or a smart device.
  • WorkOnward: uses a map-based job platform to connect hourly talent with small businesses in a local and neighborhood-friendly way.

In alignment with the program’s mission of building financial health and economic inclusion, Pay4Me will empower students and immigrants through instant and affordable cross-border payments. Beyond that, Pay4Me aims to enhance its services, expand its reach, and meet the needs of its target users through the program’s resources and support networks.

"We are pleased to be selected for the ADAPT program and excited to collaborate with Village Capital, MetLife Foundation, and TIAA alongside other innovation-driven startups," says Sunday Paul Adah, CEO of Pay4Me App. With the program’s invaluable resources, we can scale our impact and create a more inclusive financial landscape for immigrants and international students."
